Genesis 23
- 1 撒拉享壽一百二十七歲、
- 2 卒於迦南之基列亞巴、卽希伯崙、亞伯拉罕來、爲之哀哭、
- 3 後起離尸、語赫人曰、
- 4 我於爾中爲賓旅、請以塚地與我、葬我死者、使之離我、
- 5 赫人曰、
- 6 吾主、請聽、爾於我中、爲上帝之牧伯、在我塚地間、擇其佳域、以葬爾之死者、我中無人禁之、
- 7 亞伯拉罕起、向土人赫族而鞠躬、
- 8 曰、爾若有意容我得葬死者、使之離我、則請聽我言、爲我求瑣轄子以弗崙、
- 9 以其田隅之麥比拉穴、足其價值、售我爲業、俾於爾中得有塚地、
- 10 以弗崙、赫族也、時、坐於赫人中、於入邑門之赫人前、謂亞伯拉罕曰、
- 11 主歟、勿爾、請聽我言、我以田及田之穴、於我同族人前予爾、可葬汝之死者、
- 12 亞伯拉罕遂向土人而鞠躬、
- 13 當衆前謂以弗崙曰、請聽我言、我將以金購田、爾其受之、使我得葬死者、
- 14 以弗崙曰、吾主、請聽、其田值金四百舍客勒、
- 15 爾我之間、何足算哉、請葬死者、
- 16 亞伯拉罕從以弗崙言、依其當赫人前所定、權商賈通用之金四百舍客勒予之、○
- 17 如是、以弗崙之田、在麥比拉、與幔利相對者、田與穴、曁四周之林木、
- 18 於入邑門之赫人前、俱定與亞伯拉罕爲業、
- 19 厥後亞伯拉罕、葬其妻撒拉於對乎幔利、麥比拉田之穴、幔利卽希伯崙、在迦南地、
- 20 田及穴、赫人定與亞伯拉罕爲塚地、
