- 1 約伯曰、
- 2 爾曹攪擾我心、以言摧折我躬、將至何時、
- 3 爾斥責我十次、苦我而不自愧、
- 4 設我有過、其過我自任之、
- 5 爾若向我誇大、申明我恥、
- 6 當知傾覆我、網圍我、乃上帝也、
- 7 我呼屈抑、而不蒙垂聽、我求援助、而不得公斷、
- 8 彼樊我徑、俾不得過、置黑暗於我途、
- 9 褫我榮、脫我冕、
- 10 四周毀我、我則逝矣、拔我冀望、如拔樹然、
- 11 向我奮怒、視我爲敵、
- 12 其軍偕至、築路攻我、列營以環我幕、
- 13 使我兄弟乖離、相識疏遠、
- 14 親戚絕我、密友忘我、
- 15 家人婢女、以我爲外人、視我爲異族、
- 16 呼我僕而不應、口求之而不答、
- 17 我之氣味、我妻以爲異、我之祈求、同胞亦怪之、
- 18 童稚藐我、我若起立、彼則譏訕、
- 19 契合之友乃憎我、眷愛之人反攻我、
- 20 我骨貼膚、所遺只此齒齦、
- 21 我友朋歟、尚其矜我、矜我、因上帝之手、加於我身也、
- 22 何仿上帝迫我、爾啖我肉、猶未饜乎、
- 23 惟願我言見錄、我詞悉書於卷、
- 24 以鐵筆鐫之於石、笵之以鉛、俾可永存、
- 25 我知我之救者維生、終必立於地上、
- 26 我膚敗後、尚於形軀之外、得覲上帝、
- 27 我將親見之、目覩之、非外人見之、我心乃消於中矣、
- 28 爾若謂迫之宜如何、其事之根、在我約伯、
- 29 則爾當畏刀劍、蓋忿怒干刀劍之刑、使爾知有鞫焉、
