Job 14
- 1 由婦所生之人、時日短促、憂苦充盈、
- 2 其出如花、而遭翦伐、如影之馳、不得停留、
- 3 若是者、爾豈啟目視之、俾我受鞫乎、
- 4 孰能出潔者於不潔、無一能之、
- 5 人之年日旣定、月數在爾、爾爲之立限制、不能踰越、
- 6 請爾轉目不顧之、俾得休息、如傭之畢其工、
- 7 夫木被斫、尚望復萌、柔枝生發不絕、
- 8 其根雖老於土、其榦亦槁於地、
- 9 及得水氣、必萌芽生枝、同於新植、
- 10 惟人死而僵、其氣旣絕、則安在哉、
- 11 海水竭盡、河涸而乾、
- 12 人亦如是、寢而不興、迨天終盡、無復覺寤、長眠不起、
- 13 願爾藏我於陰府、匿我於隱處、俟爾怒息、爲我定期、而記念我、
- 14 人死豈能復生乎、我願忍此戰爭之日、以待被釋、
- 15 爾呼我應、爾手所造、必加顧惜、
- 16 今爾數我步履、察我罪辜、
- 17 囊封我過、密縫我愆、
- 18 山崩而沒、磐移其所、
- 19 水流剝石、浪湧衝沙、爾絕人之望、亦若是、
- 20 爾常勝人、使之逝世、改其容顏、遣之長往、
- 21 其子尊榮、彼不之知、降爲卑賤、亦不之覺、
- 22 惟其身痛楚、中心傷悲而已、
