1 Samuel 29
- 1 非利士人集其軍旅於亞弗、以色列人建營於耶斯列泉旁、
- 2 非利士牧伯率軍、或百或千、向前而進、大衞與其從者偕亞吉、隨諸其後、
- 3 非利士牧伯曰、此希伯來人何爲、亞吉曰、此非以色列王掃羅臣僕大衞乎、彼與我偕、有日有年、自投誠至今、未見其有過、
- 4 牧伯怒亞吉曰、可使此人返爾所置之地、毋令偕我出戰、恐戰陳之間、反爲我敵、彼欲與其主和、何所需耶、非以我衆之首級乎、
- 5 昔有人舞蹈唱和曰、掃羅殺其千千、大衞殺其萬萬、非此大衞乎、
- 6 亞吉召大衞曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、爾乃端正、偕我出入軍中、我視爲善、自爾來歸、未嘗見爾有惡、惟牧伯不愛爾、
- 7 今當安然以歸、勿使牧伯不悅、
- 8 大衞曰、我何所爲、自我從爾、至於今日、爾視爾僕有何事故、不容往攻我主我王之敵、
- 9 亞吉曰、爾在我前爲善、如上帝之使然、此我所知、但牧伯謂爾不可偕我往戰、
- 10 爾及爾主之僕、明晨夙興、及旦而去、
- 11 翌日、大衞與從者夙興、歸非利士地、非利士人遂往耶斯列、
