Psalmii 97
- 1 Domnul împărăţeşte: să se veselească pământul şi să se bucure ostroavele cele multe!
- 2 Norii şi negura Îl înconjoară, dreptatea şi judecata sunt temelia scaunului Său de domnie.
- 3 Înaintea Lui merge focul şi arde de jur împrejur pe potrivnicii Lui.
- 4 Fulgerele Lui luminează lumea: pământul Îl vede şi se cutremură.
- 5 Munţii se topesc ca ceara înaintea Domnului, înaintea Domnului întregului pământ.
- 6 Cerurile vestesc dreptatea Lui, şi toate popoarele văd slava Lui.
- 7 Sunt ruşinaţi toţi cei ce slujesc icoanelor şi care se fălesc cu idolii: toţi dumnezeii se închină înaintea Lui.
- 8 Sionul aude lucrul acesta şi se bucură, se veselesc fiicele lui Iuda de judecăţile Tale, Doamne!
- 9 Căci Tu, Doamne, Tu eşti Cel Preaînalt peste tot pământul, Tu eşti preaînălţat, mai presus de toţi dumnezeii.
- 10 Urâţi răul, cei ce iubiţi pe Domnul! El păzeşte sufletele credincioşilor Lui şi-i izbăveşte din mâna celor răi.
- 11 Lumina este semănată pentru cel neprihănit şi bucuria, pentru cei cu inima curată.
- 12 Neprihăniţilor, bucuraţi-vă în Domnul şi măriţi prin laudele voastre sfinţenia Lui!

Dumitru Cornilescu (4 April 1891 - 1975), a Romanian orthodox archdeacon, later a Protestant minister created this translation in 1921. It is popular particularly among protestants.
