Psalmii 122
- 1 Mă bucur când mi se zice; „Haidem la Casa Domnului!”
- 2 Picioarele mi se opresc în porţile tale, Ierusalime!
- 3 Ierusalime, tu eşti zidit ca o cetate făcută dintr-o bucată!
- 4 Acolo se suie seminţiile, seminţiile Domnului, după legea lui Israel, ca să laude Numele Domnului.
- 5 Căci acolo sunt scaunele de domnie pentru judecată, scaunele de domnie ale casei lui David.
- 6 Rugaţi-vă pentru pacea Ierusalimului! Cei ce te iubesc să se bucure de odihnă.
- 7 Pacea să fie între zidurile tale şi liniştea, în casele tale domneşti!
- 8 Din pricina fraţilor şi a prietenilor mei, doresc pacea în sânul tău.
- 9 Din pricina Casei Domnului, Dumnezeului nostru, fac urări pentru fericirea ta.

Dumitru Cornilescu (4 April 1891 - 1975), a Romanian orthodox archdeacon, later a Protestant minister created this translation in 1921. It is popular particularly among protestants.
