Psalmii 43
- 1 Fă-mi dreptate, Dumnezeule, apără-mi pricina împotriva unui neam nemilos! Izbăveşte-mă de oamenii plini de vicleşug şi de fărădelege!
- 2 Tu eşti Dumnezeul care mă ocroteşte: pentru ce mă lepezi? Pentru ce trebuie să umblu plin de întristare sub apăsarea vrăjmaşului?
- 3 Trimite lumina şi credincioşia Ta ca să mă călăuzească, şi să mă ducă la muntele Tău cel sfânt şi la locaşurile Tale!
- 4 Atunci voi merge la altarul lui Dumnezeu, la altarul lui Dumnezeu care este bucuria şi veselia mea, şi Te voi lăuda cu harpa, Dumnezeule, Dumnezeul meu!
- 5 Pentru ce te mâhneşti, suflete, şi gemi înăuntrul meu? Nădăjduieşte în Dumnezeu, căci iarăşi Îl voi lăuda: El este mântuirea mea şi Dumnezeul meu.

Dumitru Cornilescu (4 April 1891 - 1975), a Romanian orthodox archdeacon, later a Protestant minister created this translation in 1921. It is popular particularly among protestants.
