- 1 过犯得蒙赦免，罪恶得到遮盖的人，是有福的。（本节在《马索拉抄本》包括细字标题）
- 2 心里没有诡诈，耶和华不算为有罪的，这人是有福的。
- 3 我闭口不认罪的时候，就整天唉哼，以致骨头衰残。
- 4 因为你的手昼夜重压在我身上，我的精力耗尽，好像盛暑的干旱。（细拉）
- 5 我向你承认我的罪，没有隐藏我的罪孽；我说：“我要向耶和华承认我的过犯”；你就赦免我的罪孽。（细拉）
- 6 因此，凡是敬虔的人，都当趁你可寻找的时候，向你祷告；大水泛滥的时候，必不能达到他那里。
- 7 你是我藏身之处，你必保护我脱离患难，以得救的欢呼四面环绕我。（细拉）
- 8 我要教导你，指示你应走的路；我要劝戒你，我的眼睛看顾你。
- 9 你不可像无知的骡马，如果不用嚼环辔头勒住它们，它们就不肯走近。
- 10 恶人必受许多痛苦；但倚靠耶和华的，必有慈爱四面环绕他。
