帖撒罗尼迦前书 1
- 1 保罗、西拉和提摩太，写信给帖撒罗尼迦、在父 神和主耶稣基督里的教会。愿恩惠平安临到你们。
- 2 我们常常为你们众人感谢 神，祷告的时候提到你们，
- 3 在我们的父 神面前，不住地记念你们信心的工作，爱心的劳苦和因盼望我们主耶稣基督而有的坚忍。
- 4 神所爱的弟兄们，我们知道你们是蒙拣选的，
- 5 因为我们的福音传到你们那里，不单是借着言语，也是借着权能，借着圣灵和充足的信心。为了你们的缘故，我们在你们中间为人怎样，这是你们知道的。
- 6 你们效法了我们，也效法了主，在大患难中，带着圣灵的喜乐接受了真道。
- 7 这样，你们就成了马其顿和亚该亚所有信徒的榜样。
- 8 因为不单主的道从你们那里传遍了马其顿和亚该亚，就是你们对 神的信心也传遍了各处，所以我们不用再说什么了。
- 9 他们都述说你们是怎样接待我们，而且怎样离弃偶像归向 神，要服事这位又真又活的 神，
- 10 并且等候他的儿子从天降临。这就是 神使他从死人中复活，救我们脱离将来的忿怒的那位耶稣。
