- 3 For Herren, den Høieste, er forferdelig, en stor konge over all jorden.
- 4 Han legger folkeslag under oss og folkeferd under våre føtter.
- 5 Han utvelger oss vår arvelodd, Jakobs, hans elskedes herlighet. Sela.
- 6 Gud fór op under jubelrop, Herren under basuners lyd.
- 7 Lovsyng Gud, lovsyng! Lovsyng vår konge, lovsyng!
- 8 For Gud er all jordens konge; syng en sang som gjør vis!
- 9 Gud er konge over folkene, Gud har satt sig på sin hellige trone. Folkenes fyrster samler sig med Abrahams Guds folk; for jordens skjold hører Gud til, han er såre ophøiet.
