- 4 For du har vært min tilflukt, et sterkt tårn imot fienden.
- 5 La mig bo i ditt telt i all evighet, la mig finne ly i dine vingers skjul! Sela.
- 6 For du, Gud, har hørt på mine løfter, du har gitt mig arv med dem som frykter ditt navn.
- 7 Du vil legge dager til kongens dager, hans år skal være som slekt efter slekt,
- 8 han skal trone evindelig for Guds åsyn; sett miskunnhet og trofasthet til å bevare ham! Så vil jeg lovsynge ditt navn til evig tid, forat jeg kan innfri mine løfter dag efter dag.
