- 3 Min rygg har plogmenn pløid, de har gjort sine furer lange.
- 4 Herren er rettferdig, han har avhugget de ugudeliges rep.
- 5 De skal bli til skamme og vike tilbake alle de som hater Sion,
- 6 de skal bli som gress på takene, som er visnet før det blir rykket op:
- 7 Høstmannen fyller ikke sin hånd, ei heller den som binder kornbånd, sitt fang.
- 8 Og de som går forbi, sier ikke: Herrens velsignelse være over eder, vi velsigner eder i Herrens navn!
