約伯記 29
- 1 約伯 又 接著 說：
- 2 惟 願 我的景況如從前的 月份，如 神 保守我 的日子。
- 3 那時他的燈 照 在 我頭上；我藉他的光 行過 黑暗。
- 4 我願 如 壯年 的時候：那時我在 帳棚中， 神 待我有密友之情；
- 5 全能者 仍 與我同在；我的兒女 都環繞我。
- 6 奶 多可洗 我的腳；磐石 為我 出 油 成河。
- 7 我出 到 城 門，在街上 設立 座位；
- 8 少年人 見 我而迴避，老年人 也起身 站立；
- 9 王子 都停止 說話，用 手 摀口；
- 10 首領 靜默 無聲，舌頭 貼住 上膛。
- 11 耳朵 聽我的，就稱我有福；眼睛 看我的，便稱讚我；
- 12 因 我拯救 哀求 的困苦人 和無人 幫助 的 孤兒。
- 13 將要滅亡 的 為我 祝福；我也使寡婦 心中 歡樂。
- 14 我以公義 為衣服，以公平 為外袍 和冠冕。
- 15 我 為 瞎子的 眼，瘸子的 腳。
- 16 我 為窮乏人的 父；素不 認識的人，我查明 他的案件。
- 17 我打破 不義之人 的牙床，從他牙齒中 奪了 所搶的。
- 18 我便說：我必死 在家中（原文是窩中），必增添 我的日子，多如塵沙。
- 19 我的根 長 到 水邊；露水 終夜 霑在我的枝上。
- 20 我的榮耀 在身上 增新；我的弓 在手中 日強。
- 21 人聽見 我 而仰望，靜默 等候 我的指教。
- 22 我說話 之後，他們就不 再說；我的言語 像雨露滴 在他們身上。
- 23 他們仰望 我 如仰望雨，又張開 口 如切慕春雨。
- 24 他們不 敢自信，我就向他們 含笑；他們不 使我臉上 的光 改變。
- 25 我為他們選擇 道路，又坐 首位；我如君王 在軍隊 中居住，又如 弔喪的安慰 傷心的人。
