帖撒羅尼迦前書 1
- 1 保羅、 西拉、 提摩太 寫信給 帖撒羅尼迦 在 父 神 和 主 耶穌 基督 裡的教會。願恩惠、 平安 歸與你們！
- 2 我們為 你們 眾人 常常 感謝 神，禱告的時候 提到你們，
- 3 在 神─我們的 父 面前，不住地 記念 你們 因信心 所做的工夫，因 愛心 所受的勞苦，因 盼望 我們 主 耶穌 基督 所存的忍耐。
- 4 被 神 所愛的 弟兄啊，我知道 你們 是蒙揀選的；
- 5 因為 我們的 福音 傳 到 你們那裡，不 獨 在乎 言語，也 在乎 權能 和 聖 靈，並 充足的 信心。正如 你們知道，我們 在 你們那裡，為 你們 的緣故是怎樣為人。
- 6 並且 你們 在 大 難之中，蒙了聖 靈 所賜的 喜樂，領受 真道 就效法 我們，也 效法了主；
- 7 甚至 你們 作了 馬其頓 和 亞該亞 所有 信 主之人的榜樣。
- 8 因為 主 的道 從 你們那裡 已經傳揚出來。你們 向 神 的信心 不但 在 馬其頓 和 亞該亞，就是 在 各 處 也都傳開了，所以 不 用 我們 說 甚麼話。
- 9 因為 他們自己 已經報明 我們 是 怎樣 進 到 你們那裡， 你們是怎樣 離棄 偶像，歸 向 神，要服事 那又 真 又活的 神，
- 10 等候 他 兒子 從 天降臨，就是 他從 死 裡復活的─那位 救 我們 脫離 將來 忿怒的 耶穌。
