耶利米書 24
- 1 巴比倫 王 尼布甲尼撒 將 猶大 王 約雅敬 的兒子 耶哥尼雅 和 猶大 的首領，並 工匠、 鐵匠 從耶路撒冷 擄去，帶到 巴比倫。這事以後，耶和華 指給我看， 有兩 筐 無花果 放 在耶和華 的殿 前。
- 2 一 筐 是極 好 的無花果，好像是初熟的；一 筐 是極 壞 的無花果， 壞得 不可 吃。
- 3 於是耶和華 問我 說：「耶利米 你 看見 甚麼？」我說：「我看見無花果，好 的 極 好，壞 的極 壞， 壞得 不可 吃。」
- 4 耶和華 的話 臨 到我 說：
- 5 「耶和華─以色列的 神 如此 說： 被擄去 的猶大人，就是 我打發 離開 這 地 到迦勒底人 之地去的，我必看顧 他們如 這 好 無花果，使他們得好處。
- 6 我要眷顧 他們，使他們得好處，領他們歸回 這 地。我也要建立他們，必不 拆毀；栽植他們，並不 拔出。
- 7 我要賜 他們 認識 我 的心，知道 我是 耶和華。他們要作 我的 子民，我 要作 他們的 神，因為 他們要一 心 歸 向我。」
- 8 耶和華 如此 說：「我必 將 猶大 王 西底家 和 他的首領，以及 剩 在這 地 耶路撒冷 的餘民，並住 在埃及 地 的猶大人都交出來，好像那極壞、 壞得 不可 吃 的無花果。
- 9 我必使他們交出來，在天下 萬 國 中拋來拋去，遭遇災禍； 在我趕逐他們 到的 各 處 成為凌辱、笑談、譏刺、咒詛。
- 10 我必使 刀劍、 饑荒、 瘟疫 臨到 他們，直到 他們從 我所 賜 給他們 和他們列祖 之地 滅絕。」
