耶利米書 26
- 1 猶大 王 約西亞 的兒子 約雅敬 登基 的時候，有 這 話 從 耶和華 臨到耶利米說：
- 2 「耶和華 如此 說：你站在 耶和華 殿 的院內， 對 猶大 眾 城邑的人，就是到 耶和華 殿 來禮拜的，說 我所 吩咐你 的 一切 話，一字 不可 刪減。
- 3 或者 他們肯聽從，各人 回頭 離開惡 道，使我後悔 不將 我 因 他們所行 的惡， 想要 施行 的災禍降 與他們。
- 4 你要對他們 說，耶和華 如此 說：『你們若 不 聽從 我，不遵行 我設立 在你們面前 的律法，
- 5 不聽 我 從早起來 差遣 到 你們那裡 去我僕人 眾先知的 話（你們還是沒有 聽從），
- 6 我就必使 這 殿 如示羅，使 這 城 為地上 萬 國 所咒詛的。』」
- 7 耶利米 在耶和華 殿中 說的 這些 話，祭司、先知 與眾 民 都聽見了。
- 8 耶利米 說 完了 耶和華 所 吩咐 他對 眾 人 說 的一切話，祭司、先知 與眾 民 都來抓住 他，說：「你必 要死！
- 9 你為何 託耶和華 的名 預言，說 這 殿 必 如示羅，這 城 必變為荒場 無人 居住呢？」於是眾 民 都在耶和華 的殿中 聚集 到 耶利米那裡。
- 10 猶大 的首領 聽見 這 事，就從王 宮 上 到耶和華 的殿，坐 在耶和華 殿的新 門 口。
- 11 祭司、先知 對 首領 和 眾 民 說：「這 人 是該 死的；因為 他說預言 攻擊 這 城，正如 你們親耳 所聽見的。」
- 12 耶利米 就對 眾 首領 和 眾 民 說：「耶和華 差遣我 預言，攻擊 這 殿 和 這 城，說 你們所 聽見 的這一切 話。
- 13 現在 要改正 你們的行動 作為，聽從 耶和華─你們 神 的話，他 就必後悔，不將 所 說 的災禍 降與你們。
- 14 至於我，我 在你們手中，你們眼看 何為善，何為正，就那樣待 我吧！
- 15 但 你們要確實地 知道， 若 把我 治死， 就 使無辜人 的血 歸 到你們 和 這 城，並 其中的居民了；因為 耶和華 實在 差遣我 到你們這裡來，將 這 一切 話 傳與 你們耳中。」
- 16 首領 和眾 民 就對 祭司、 先知 說：「這 人 是不 該 死的，因為 他是奉耶和華─我們 神 的名 向我們 說話。」
- 17 國中 的長老 就有幾個人 起來， 對 聚會 的眾 民 說：
- 18 「當猶大 王 希西家 的日子，有 摩利沙人 彌迦 對 猶大 眾 人 預言 說：萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：錫安 必被耕種 像一塊田；耶路撒冷 必變為 亂堆；這殿 的山 必像叢林 的高處。
- 19 猶大 王 希西家 和猶大 眾人 豈是把他 治死呢？希西家豈不是 敬畏 耶和華、懇求 他的恩嗎？耶和華 就後悔，不把 自己所 說 的災禍 降與他們。若治死這人，我們 就作了 大 惡， 自害己命。」
- 20 （又 有 一個人 奉耶和華 的名 說預言，是基列‧耶琳人 示瑪雅 的兒子 烏利亞，他照耶利米 的一切 話 說預言，攻擊 這 城 和 這 地。
- 21 約雅敬 王 和他眾 勇士、眾 首領 聽見了 烏利亞的話，王 就想要 把他治死。烏利 亞聽見 就懼怕，逃 往埃及 去了。
- 22 約雅敬 王 便打發 亞革波 的兒子 以利拿單，帶 領幾個人 往 埃及去。
- 23 他們就從埃及 將 烏利亞 帶出來，送 到 約雅敬 王那裡；王用刀 殺了他，把 他的屍首 拋 在 平民 的墳地中。）
- 24 然而，沙番 的兒子 亞希甘保護 耶利米，不 交 在百姓 的手中 治死他。
