Ψαλμοί 110
- 1 «Ψαλμός του Δαβίδ.» Είπεν ο Κύριος προς τον Κύριόν μου, Κάθου εκ δεξιών μου, εωσού θέσω τους εχθρούς σου υποπόδιον των ποδών σου.
- 2 Εκ της Σιών θέλει εξαποστείλει ο Κύριος την ράβδον της δυνάμεώς σου· κατακυρίευε εν μέσω των εχθρών σου.
- 3 Ο λαός σου θέλει είσθαι πρόθυμος εν τη ημέρα της δυνάμεώς σου, εν τω μεγαλοπρεπεί αγιαστηρίω αυτού· οι νέοι σου θέλουσιν είσθαι εις σε ως δρόσος, η εξερχομένη εκ της μήτρας της αυγής.
- 4 Ώμοσεν ο Κύριος και δεν θέλει μεταμεληθή, συ είσαι ιερεύς εις τον αιώνα κατά την τάξιν Μελχισεδέκ.
- 5 Ο Κύριος ο εκ δεξιών σου θέλει συντρίψει βασιλείς εν τη ημέρα της οργής αυτού.
- 6 Θέλει κρίνει εν τοις έθνεσι· θέλει γεμίσει την γην πτωμάτων· Θέλει συντρίψει κεφαλήν δεσπόζοντος επί πολλών τόπων.
- 7 Θέλει πίει εκ του χειμάρρου εν τη οδώ αυτού· διά τούτο θέλει υψώσει κεφαλήν.

This translation started in 1831 and was published in 1850 by the Orthodox Archimandrite and professor of the National University of Athens, Neophytos Vamvas with the help of other researchers. Considering that the Greek Orthodox Church wouldn't support him, he collaborated with the British and Foreign Bible Society to publish this translation.
The text is written in "kathareuousa", a form of greek that is not spoken today in Greece. It is closer to spoken greek though, than the Septuagint (also known "translation of the seventy").- Encoding: UTF-8
