Ψαλμοί 75
- 1 «Εις τον πρώτον μουσικόν, επί Αλ-τασχέθ. Ψαλμός ωδής του Ασάφ.» Δοξολογούμέν σε, Θεέ, δοξολογούμεν, διότι πλησίον ημών είναι το όνομά σου· κηρύττονται τα θαυμάσιά σου.
- 2 Όταν λάβω τον ωρισμένον καιρόν, εγώ θέλω κρίνει εν ευθύτητι.
- 3 Διελύθη η γη και πάντες οι κάτοικοι αυτής· εγώ εστερέωσα τους στύλους αυτής. Διάψαλμα.
- 4 Είπα προς τους άφρονας, μη γίνεσθε άφρονες· και προς τους ασεβείς, μη υψώνετε κέρας.
- 5 Μη υψόνετε εις ύψος το κέρας υμών· μη λαλείτε με τράχηλον σκληρόν.
- 6 Διότι ούτε εξ ανατολών, ούτε εκ δυσμών, ούτε εκ της ερήμου, έρχεται ύψωσις.
- 7 Αλλ' ο Θεός είναι ο Κριτής· τούτον ταπεινόνει και εκείνον υψόνει.
- 8 Διότι εν τη χειρί του Κυρίου είναι ποτήριον πλήρες κεράσματος οίνου ακράτου, και εκ τούτου θέλει χύσει· πλην την τρυγίαν αυτού θέλουσι στραγγίσει πάντες οι ασεβείς της γης και θέλουσι πίει.
- 9 Εγώ δε θέλω κηρύττει διαπαντός, θέλω ψαλμωδεί εις τον Θεόν του Ιακώβ.
- 10 Και πάντα τα κέρατα των ασεβών θέλω συντρίψει· τα δε κέρατα των δικαίων θέλουσιν υψωθή.

This translation started in 1831 and was published in 1850 by the Orthodox Archimandrite and professor of the National University of Athens, Neophytos Vamvas with the help of other researchers. Considering that the Greek Orthodox Church wouldn't support him, he collaborated with the British and Foreign Bible Society to publish this translation.
The text is written in "kathareuousa", a form of greek that is not spoken today in Greece. It is closer to spoken greek though, than the Septuagint (also known "translation of the seventy").- Encoding: UTF-8
