- 1 Y-sơ-ra-ên đáng nói: Nếu Ðức Giê-hô-va chẳng binh vực chúng ta,
- 2 Khi loài người dấy nghịch chúng ta, Khi cơn giận họ nổi lên cùng chúng ta,
- 3 Nếu Ðức Giê-hô-va không binh vực chúng ta, Aét chúng nó đã nuốt sống chúng ta rồi;
- 4 Nước chắt đánh chìm chúng ta, Dòng tràn qua ngập linh hồn chúng ta,
- 5 Và những lượn sóng kiêu ngạo Ðã trôi trác linh hồn chúng ta rồi.
- 6 Ðáng ngợi khen Ðức Giê-hô-va thay, Ngài không phó chúng ta làm mồi cho răng chúng nó!
- 7 Linh hồn chúng ta thoát khỏi như chim thoát khỏi rập kẻ đánh chim; Rập đã dứt, chúng ta bèn thoát khỏi.
- 8 Sự tiếp trợ chúng ta ở trong danh Ðức Giê-hô-va, Là Ðấng đã dựng nên trời và đất.
