- 1 Cantique de Mahaloth. J'élève mes yeux à toi, qui habites dans les cieux.
- 2 Voici, comme les yeux des serviteurs regardent à la main de leurs maîtres ; et comme les yeux de la servante regardent à la main de sa maîtresse ; ainsi nos yeux regardent à l'Eternel notre Dieu, jusqu'à ce qu'il ait pitié de nous.
- 3 Aie pitié de nous, ô Eternel ! aie pitié de nous ; car nous avons été accablés de mépris.
- 4 Notre âme est accablée des insultes de ceux qui sont à leur aise, et du mépris des orgueilleux.
