以賽亞書 50
- 1 耶和華這樣說：“我離棄了你們的母親，休書在哪裡呢？或者我的債主中，哪一個是我把你們賣了給他的呢？看哪！你們被賣是因你們的罪孽；你們的母親被離棄是因你們的過犯。
- 2 為甚麼我來的時候，沒有人在呢？為甚麼我呼喚的時候，沒有人答應呢？難道我的手太軟弱不能救贖嗎？或是我沒有能力拯救嗎？看哪！我以斥責使海乾涸，我使江河變成曠野，江河的魚因無水發臭，因乾渴而死。
- 3 我使諸天以黑暗為衣服，以麻布作它們的遮蓋。”
- 4 主耶和華賜給了我一個受教者的舌頭，使我知道怎樣用言語扶助疲乏的人；主每天清晨喚醒我，他每天清晨喚醒我的耳朵，使我能像受教者一樣靜聽。
- 5 主耶和華開啟了我的耳朵，我並沒有違抗，也沒有後退。
- 6 我把我的背給打我的人打，把我的腮頰給拔我鬍鬚的人拔；我並沒有掩面躲避人的羞辱和人的唾液。
- 7 但主耶和華必幫助我，所以我必不羞愧，因此我板著臉好像堅硬的燧石，我也知道我必不會蒙羞。
- 8 那稱我為義的，與我相近；誰與我爭訟呢？讓我們一同站起來吧！誰是指控我的？讓他就近我來。
- 9 看哪！主耶和華幫助我，誰能定我有罪呢？看哪！他們都要像衣服漸漸破舊，蛀蟲必把他們吃光。
- 10 你們中間誰是敬畏耶和華，聽從他僕人的聲音的？誰是行在黑暗中，沒有亮光的呢？他該倚靠耶和華的名，依賴他的 神。
- 11 看哪！你們點火的，用火把圍繞自己的，都行在你們火燄的光裡，都走在你們所燃點的火把中吧！這是你們從我手裡所要得的：你們必躺臥在痛苦之中。
