以賽亞書 39
- 1 那時，巴比倫王巴拉但的兒子米羅達．巴拉但，聽說希西家病了，又痊愈了，就派人送信和禮物給希西家。
- 2 希西家就十分高興，並且把他的寶庫、銀子、金子、香料和貴重的油，以及他整個武器庫裡和他府庫裡的一切物件，都給使者們看；他家裡和他全國裡的東西，希西家沒有一樣不給他們看。
- 3 於是以賽亞先知來見希西家王，問他說：“這些人說了些甚麼？他們從哪裡來見你？”希西家說：“他們是從遠方的巴比倫來見我的。”
- 4 以賽亞又問：“他們在你家裡看見了甚麼？”希西家回答：“我家中所有的，他們都看了；我的財寶中，沒有一樣不給他們看。”
- 5 以賽亞對希西家說：“你要聽萬軍之耶和華的話。
- 6 看哪！日子必到，你家中所有的，以及你列祖所積蓄到今日的，都要被帶到巴比倫去，一樣也不留，這是耶和華說的。
- 7 從你所出的眾子，就是你所生的，其中必有被擄去的，在巴比倫王宮裡作太監。”
- 8 希西家對以賽亞說：“你所說耶和華的話不錯呀！”因為他心裡想：“在我有生之日，必有平安和穩固。”
