Psalms 147
- 1 Breng Jahweh lof, Jerusalem; Sion, loof uw God!
- 2 Want Hij heeft de grendels van uw poorten versterkt, Uw zonen binnen uw muren gezegend,
- 3 De vrede aan uw grenzen geschonken, U met de bloem der tarwe verzadigd.
- 4 Hij is het, die de aarde zijn bevelen stuurt, En haastig rept zich zijn woord:
- 5 Die sneeuw als wolvlokken zendt, Zijn ijzel rondstrooit als as.
- 6 Hij werpt zijn hagel bij brokken, En voor zijn koude stollen de wateren;
- 7 Maar Hij stuurt zijn bevel, en ze smelten: Zijn winden waaien, weer stromen de wateren.
- 8 Hij maakte Jakob zijn geboden bekend, Israël zijn bevelen en wetten:
- 9 Zo deed Hij voor geen ander volk, Nooit heeft Hij hùn zijn wetten geleerd! Halleluja!
