Psalms 121
- 1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from where comes my help.
- 2 My help comes from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
- 3 He will not suffer your foot to be moved: he that keeps you will not slumber.
- 4 Behold, he that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
- 5 The LORD is your keeper: the LORD is your shade on your right hand.
- 6 The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.
- 7 The LORD shall preserve you from all evil: he shall preserve your soul.
- 8 The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even for ever more.

This is a new translation of the Bible, based on the original King James Version. It is a simple word for word update from the King James English. I have taken care to change nothing doctrinely, but to simply update the spelling and vocabulary. I have not changed the grammar because that could alter it doctrinely.
I am hereby putting the American King James version of the Bible into the public domain on November 8, 1999.
