- 1 ข้าพเจ้าจะเงยหน้าดูภูเขา ความอุปถัมภ์ของข้าพเจ้ามาจากไหน
- 2 ความอุปถัมภ์ของข้าพเจ้ามาจากพระเยโฮวาห์ ผู้ทรงสร้างฟ้าสวรรค์และแผ่นดินโลก
- 3 พระองค์จะไม่ให้เท้าของท่านพลาดไป พระองค์ผู้ทรงอารักขาท่านจะไม่เคลิ้มไป
- 4 ดูเถิด พระองค์ผู้ทรงอารักขาอิสราเอลจะไม่ทรงหลับสนิทหรือนิทรา
- 5 พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเป็นผู้อารักขาท่าน พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเป็นที่กำบังที่ข้างขวามือของท่าน
- 6 ดวงอาทิตย์จะไม่โจมตีท่านในเวลากลางวัน หรือดวงจันทร์ในเวลากลางคืน
- 7 พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงอารักขาท่านให้พ้นภยันตรายทั้งสิ้น พระองค์จะทรงอารักขาชีวิตของท่าน
- 8 พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงอารักขาการเข้าออกของท่านตั้งแต่กาลบัดนี้สืบไปเป็นนิตย์
