- 1 ユダの王ヨシヤの子エホヤキムの四年に、ネリヤの子バルクがこれらの言葉をエレミヤの口述にしたがって書にしるした時、預言者エレミヤが彼に語った言葉、
- 2 「バルクよ、イスラエルの神、主はあなたについてこう言われる、
- 3 あなたはかつて、『ああ、わたしはわざわいだ、主がわたしの苦しみに悲しみをお加えになった。わたしは嘆き疲れて、安息が得られない』と言った。
- 4 あなたはこう彼に言いなさい、主はこう言われる、見よ、わたしは自分で建てたものをこわし、自分で植えたものを抜いている――それは、この全地である。
- 5 あなたは自分のために大いなる事を求めるのか、これを求めてはならない。見よ、わたしはすべての人に災を下そうとしている。しかしあなたの命はあなたの行くすべての所で、ぶんどり物としてあなたに与えると主は言われる」。
