約翰一書 4
- 1 親愛的弟兄啊，一切的 靈，你們不可 都信，總要 試驗 那些靈 是 出於 神 的不是，因為 世上 有許多 假先知 已經出來了。
- 2 凡 靈 認 耶穌 基督 是成了 肉身 來的，就是 出於 神的；從 此 你們可以認出 神的 靈來。
- 3 凡 靈 不 認 耶穌，就不 是 出於 神， 這 是 那敵基督者的靈。你們從前聽見 他 要來， 現在 已經 在 世上了。
- 4 小子們哪，你們 是 屬 神的，並且 勝了 他們；因為 那 在 你們裡面的，比 那在 世界 上的更大。
- 5 他們 是 屬 世界的，所以 論 世界 的事， 世人 也聽從 他們。
- 6 我們 是 屬 神的，認識 神 的就聽從 我們； 不 屬 神 的就不 聽從 我們。從 此 我們可以認出 真理的 靈 和 謬妄的 靈來。
- 7 親愛的弟兄啊，我們應當彼此 相愛，因為 愛 是 從 神來的。 凡 有愛心的，都是由 神 而生，並且 認識 神。
- 8 沒有 愛心的，就不 認識 神，因為 神 就是 愛。
- 9 神 差 他 獨生 子 到 世間來，使 我們藉著 他 得生， 神 愛 我們 的心在 此 就顯明了。
- 10 不是 我們 愛 神，乃是 神 愛 我們， 差 他的 兒子 為 我們的 罪 作了挽回祭， 這 就是 愛了。
- 11 親愛的弟兄啊， 神 既是 這樣 愛 我們，我們 也 當 彼此 相愛。
- 12 從來沒有 人 見過 神，我們若 彼此 相愛， 神 就住 在我們 裡面， 愛 他 的心在我們 裡面 得以 完全了。
- 13 神將他 的 靈 賜給 我們，從 此 就知道 我們是住 在他 裡面，他 也 住在我們 裡面。
- 14 父 差 子 作世人 的救主； 這是我們 所看見 且 作見證的。
- 15 凡 認 耶穌 為 神 兒子的， 神 就住 在他 裡面，他 也住在 神 裡面。
- 16 神 愛 我們的心，我們 也 知道 也 信。 神 就是 愛； 住 在愛 裡面的，就是住在 神 裡面， 神 也 住在 他 裡面。
- 17 這樣，愛 在我們 裡面 得以完全， 我們就可以在 審判 的日子 坦然無懼。因為 他 如何，我們 在 這 世上 也 如何。
- 18 愛 裡 沒 有 懼怕；愛 既 完全，就把懼怕 除 去。因為 懼怕 裡含著 刑罰， 懼怕 的人在愛 裡 未得 完全。
- 19 我們 愛，因為 神 先 愛 我們。
- 20 人 若 說「我愛 神」，卻 恨 他的 弟兄，就是 說謊話的； 不 愛 他 所 看見 的弟兄，就不 能 愛 沒有 看見的 神（有古卷：怎能愛沒有看見的 神呢）。
- 21 愛 神的，也 當愛 弟兄， 這是 我們從 神 所受 的命令。
