Proverbs 25
- 1 此亦所羅門之箴言、猶大王希西家之臣所錄者、
- 2 祕密其事、乃上帝之榮、鑒察其事、乃君王之榮、
- 3 天高地厚、王心莫測、
- 4 去銀之滓、則鍛鍊者可以製器、
- 5 去王前之惡人、其位乃以義而立、
- 6 勿自誇於王前、勿立於大人之位、
- 7 寧有人曰、請爾上升、勿於所覲之君前、令爾下退、
- 8 勿遽出與人爭、免致終受其辱、罔知所措、
- 9 與鄰爭訟、當與其人辯之、勿洩人之祕事、
- 10 恐聽者詈爾、遺臭難脫、
- 11 言語適宜、如金果在於銀網、
- 12 智者斥責、於順受之耳、如金製耳環、與精金物飾、
- 13 忠誠之使、俾遣之者心神清爽、如穡時雨雪之涼、
- 14 妄詡饋遺、如有風雲而無雨、
- 15 恆忍可以勸君、柔舌能以折骨、
- 16 爾得蜜乎、當如量而食、恐過飽而哇之、
- 17 爾足勿數入鄰家、恐其厭爾惡爾、
- 18 妄證以陷鄰者、乃槌、乃刃、乃利矢、
- 19 遭難而恃不忠之人、如恃破折之齒、錯節之足、
- 20 向憂心者謳歌、如寒時解衣、鹹上傾醋、
- 21 敵飢則食以餅、渴則飲以水、
- 22 是乃以爇炭積厥首、耶和華必賞賚爾、
- 23 北風致陰雨、讒言致怒容、
- 24 寧處屋頂之隅、勿與悍婦共居廣廈、
- 25 嘉音來自遠方、如冷水於渴者、
- 26 義人爲惡人而卻退、如泉渾井濁、
- 27 多食蜜乃非善、自求榮乃可憎、
- 28 人不制心、如城毀而無垣、
