- 1 以色列會衆遵耶和華命、自汛野啟行、依程而進、建營於利非訂、無水可飲、
- 2 民與摩西爭曰、飲我以水、摩西曰、奚與我爭、奚試耶和華乎、
- 3 民渴、索水、怨摩西曰、曷導我出埃及、使我與子及畜、燥渴而死、
- 4 摩西籲耶和華曰、斯民幾欲以石擊我、何以待之、
- 5 耶和華曰、爾執擊河之杖、率以色列長老數人、過於民前、
- 6 我於何烈磐上、向爾而立、爾擊斯磐、水由之出、使民得飲、摩西遂於以色列長老前行此、
- 7 名其地曰瑪撒、亦曰米利巴、因以色列人爭於斯、並試耶和華曰、耶和華在我中否也、○
- 8 時、亞瑪力族至、與以色列人戰於利非訂、
- 9 摩西命約書亞曰、爲我選人、出與亞瑪力戰、明日我執上帝杖、立於山巔、
- 10 約書亞遵摩西命、與亞瑪力戰、摩西亞倫戶珥俱陟山巔、
- 11 摩西舉手、則以色列勝、垂手、則亞瑪力勝、
- 12 摩西手疲、亞倫戶珥移石使坐、左右扶持、手乃穩固、至於日入、
- 13 約書亞以刃擊仆亞瑪力王與其民、
- 14 耶和華諭摩西曰、我將塗亞瑪力之誌於天下、當筆之於簡、誦之於約書亞耳、
- 15 摩西築壇、名之曰耶和華尼西、
- 16 曰、亞瑪力舉手攻耶和華之座、故耶和華必與之戰、歷世靡曁、
