- 1 Pro předního zpěváka, Davidův. Bloud si v srdci říká: „Bůh tu není.“ Všichni kazí, zohavují, na co sáhnou, nikdo nic dobrého neudělá.
- 2 Hospodin na lidi pohlíží z nebe, chce vidět, má-li kdo rozum, dotazuje-li se po Boží vůli.
- 3 Zpronevěřili se všichni, zvrhli se do jednoho, nikdo nic dobrého neudělá, naprosto nikdo.
- 4 Což nevědí všichni, kdo páchají ničemnosti, kdo jedí můj lid, jako by jedli chleba, ti, kdo Hospodina nevzývají,
- 5 že se jednou třást budou strachem? S pokolením spravedlivého je Bůh.
- 6 Radu poníženého ostouzíte, ale Hospodin je jeho útočiště.
- 7 Kéž už přijde Izraeli ze Sijónu spása! Až Hospodin změní úděl svého lidu, bude Jákob jásat, Izrael se zaraduje.
