Isaiah 18
- 1 에티오피아의 강들 건너편에서 날개로 그림자를 드리우는 땅에 화가 있을지어다!
- 2 그 땅이 물 위에 떠 있는 갈대배로 바다를 통해 대사들을 보내며 이르기를, 민첩한 사자(使者)들아, 너희는 흩어지고 벗겨진 민족 곧 그들의 시작부터 지금까지 두려움을 주는 백성에게로 가되 분량대로 측량되고 짓밟힌 민족 즉 강들이 땅을 못 쓰게 만든 민족에게로 가라! 하는도다.
- 3 세상의 모든 거주민들과 땅에 거하는 자들아, 그분께서 산 위에 기를 세우시거든 너희는 볼지어다. 그분께서 나팔을 부시거든 너희는 들을지어다.
- 4 주께서 내게 이같이 이르시되, 내가 내 안식을 취하며 또 내 거처에서 깊이 생각하기를 채소 위에 떨어지는 투명한 열기와 수확 때의 열기 속에 거하는 이슬 구름같이 하리라, 하셨도다.
- 5 수확하기 전 곧 봉오리가 완전해지고 신 포도가 꽃 속에서 익어 갈 때에 그분께서 가지 치는 낫으로 작은 가지를 치시고 큰 가지를 제거하시고 잘라 내시어
- 6 그것들을 다 같이 산의 날짐승들과 땅의 짐승들에게 남겨 주시리니 날짐승들이 그것들로 여름을 나며 땅의 모든 짐승들이 그것들로 겨울을 나리라.
- 7 ¶그때에 흩어지고 벗겨진 백성 곧 그들의 시작부터 지금까지 두려움을 주는 백성이 만군의 주께 예물을 가져오되 분량대로 측량되고 짓밟힌 민족 즉 강들이 땅을 못 쓰게 만든 민족이 만군의 주의 이름이 있는 곳 시온 산으로 가져오리라.
