Psalms 53
- 1 احمق در دل خود می گوید: «خدائی نیست.» فاسد شده اند و به کارهای زشت دست می زنند و حتی یک نفر نیکوکار نیست.
- 2 خدا از آسمان بر بنی آدم می نگرد تا ببیند که آیا شخص دانا و خداجوئی وجود دارد.
- 3 همه گمراه و فاسد شده اند. نیکوکاری نیست، حتی یک نفر هم نیست.
- 4 آیا این بدکاران شعور ندارند که قوم برگزیدۀ خدا را مثل نان می خورند و نام خدا را یاد نمی کنند؟
- 5 آنگاه سخت ترسان شدند، جایی که هیچ ترس نبود، زیرا خدا استخوانهای محاصره کنندۀ تو را پاشان می سازد. آن ها شرمنده می شوند زیرا خدا ایشان را رد نموده است.
- 6 ای کاش که نجات اسرائیل از سهیون بیاید. وقتی که خدا اسیران قوم برگزیدۀ خود را باز گرداند، یعقوب خوشی می کند و اسرائیل شادمان می شود.
