St John the Evangelist is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Golcar. We pride ourselves on our warm welcome and look forward to meeting friends old and new.

We are a dynamic and thriving church with something happening in the church or community room most days of the week. From a variety of traditional services to our more modern and interactive family services, we like to think there is a style of worship to suit everyone.

We hold a wide range of regular social events including our annual garden party and ceilidhs to Dinner with Friends, and annual 'show' and regular music events. Many Community Groups such as the weekly Luncheon Club, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides and Just Sing Community Choir meet in our building.
