โยบ 11
- 1 แล้วโศฟาร์ชาวนาอามาห์ตอบว่า
- 2 “ควรที่จะฟังมวลถ้อยคำโดยไม่มีใครตอบหรือ และคนที่พูดมากควรจะนับว่าชอบธรรมหรือ
- 3 ควรที่คำพูดมุสาของท่านทำให้คนนิ่ง และเมื่อท่านเยาะเย้ย ไม่ควรมีผู้ใดทำให้ท่านอายหรือ
- 4 เพราะท่านว่า ‘หลักคำสอนของข้าบริสุทธิ์ และข้าก็สะอาดในสายพระเนตรพระเจ้า’
- 5 แต่ โอ ใคร่จะให้พระเจ้าตรัสและทรงเปิดริมพระโอษฐ์ของพระองค์ตรัสกับท่าน
- 6 ใคร่จะให้พระองค์ทรงสำแดงเคล็ดลับของสติปัญญาให้ท่าน เพราะความเข้าใจของพระองค์อเนกอนันต์ จงทราบเถิดว่าพระเจ้าทรงเรียกร้องจากท่านน้อยกว่าความชั่วช้าของท่านพึงได้รับ
- 7 ท่านจะหยั่งรู้สภาพของพระเจ้าได้หรือ ท่านหยั่งรู้องค์ผู้ทรงมหิทธิฤทธิ์ได้หมดหรือ
- 8 นั่นสูงเท่าฟ้าสวรรค์ ท่านจะทำอะไรได้ ลึกกว่านรก ท่านจะทราบอะไรได้
- 9 วัดดูก็ยาวกว่าโลก และกว้างกว่าทะเล
- 10 ถ้าพระองค์ทรงตัดออก และทรงคุมขัง และทรงเรียกมาชุมนุมกัน ใครจะขัดขวางพระองค์ได้
- 11 เพราะพระองค์ทรงทราบคนไร้ค่า เมื่อพระองค์ทรงเห็นความชั่วร้าย พระองค์จะไม่ทรงพิจารณาหรือ
- 12 แต่คนไร้ค่าอยากฉลาด ถึงแม้ว่ามนุษย์เกิดมาเหมือนลูกลาป่า
- 13 ถ้าท่านเตรียมใจของท่านไว้ และท่านเหยียดมือของท่านออกไปหาพระองค์
- 14 ถ้าความชั่วช้าอยู่ในมือของท่าน ทิ้งเสียให้ไกล และอย่าให้ความชั่วร้ายอาศัยอยู่ในเต็นท์ของท่าน
- 15 แล้วแน่ละ ท่านจะเงยหน้าขึ้นโดยปราศจากตำหนิ ท่านจะมั่นคง และไม่ต้องกลัว
- 16 เพราะท่านจะลืมความทุกข์ยากของท่าน ท่านจะจดจำได้เหมือนน้ำที่ได้ไหลผ่านพ้นไป
- 17 แล้วชีวิตของท่านจะสุกใสยิ่งกว่าเวลาเที่ยงวัน ท่านจะส่องแสงเหมือนเวลาเช้า
- 18 และท่านจะรู้สึกมั่นคง เพราะมีความหวัง เออ ท่านจะตรวจตราดู และนอนพักอย่างปลอดภัย
- 19 ท่านจะนอนลง และไม่มีใครทำให้ท่านกลัว เออ คนเป็นอันมากจะมาวอนขอความช่วยเหลือจากท่าน
- 20 แต่ตาของคนชั่วร้ายจะมืดมัว เขาจะหลีกเลี่ยงหลบหนีไม่ได้ และความหวังของเขาจะเหมือนความตายนั่นเอง”
