เศคารยาห์ 5
- 1 ข้าพเจ้าหันกลับและเงยหน้าขึ้นอีกก็แลเห็น ดูเถิด หนังสือม้วนหนึ่งเหาะอยู่นั่น
- 2 ท่านจึงถามข้าพเจ้าว่า “เจ้าเห็นอะไร” ข้าพเจ้าตอบว่า “ข้าพเจ้าแลเห็นหนังสือม้วนหนึ่งเหาะอยู่ มันยาวยี่สิบศอก และกว้างสิบศอก”
- 3 แล้วท่านจึงบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า “นี่แหละเป็นคำสาปที่แผ่ออกไปทั่วพื้นแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้น ผู้ที่ทำการโจรกรรมทุกคนจะต้องถูกขจัดออก ตั้งแต่นี้ไปตามความในหนังสือม้วนนั้น และทุกคนที่สาบานจะต้องถูกขจัดออกตั้งแต่นี้ไปตามที่กำหนดไว้
- 4 พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาตรัสว่า เราส่งคำสาปนั้นออกไป และคำนั้นจะเข้าไปในเรือนของโจร และในเรือนของคนที่สาบานเท็จโดยออกนามของเรา และคำนี้จะค้างคืนอยู่ในเรือน ผลาญเรือนนั้นเสียทั้งไม้และศิลา”
- 5 ทูตสวรรค์ผู้ที่สนทนากับข้าพเจ้าได้ออกมาพูดกับข้าพเจ้าว่า “จงเงยหน้าขึ้นดูว่า สิ่งที่ออกไปนั้นคืออะไร”
- 6 ข้าพเจ้าจึงว่า “นั่นคืออะไร” ท่านจึงตอบว่า “นี่คือเอฟาห์ที่ออกไป” และท่านจึงว่า “นี่คือสิ่งคล้ายคลึงในแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้น”
- 7 และ ดูเถิด ตะกั่วหนึ่งตะลันต์ก็ถูกยกขึ้น และมีผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งนั่งอยู่ในเอฟาห์นั้น
- 8 และเขากล่าวว่า “นี่คือความชั่ว” และท่านก็ผลักนางนั้นเข้าไปในเอฟาห์ แล้วก็ผลักลูกน้ำหนักที่ทำด้วยตะกั่วนั้นปิดปากมันไว้
- 9 แล้วข้าพเจ้าก็เงยหน้าขึ้นแลเห็น ดูเถิด มีผู้หญิงสองคนออกมา มีลมอยู่ในปีกของนาง นางมีปีกเหมือนปีกของนกกระสาดำ และนางก็ยกเอฟาห์ขึ้นระหว่างโลกและฟ้าสวรรค์
- 10 แล้วข้าพเจ้าจึงพูดกับทูตสวรรค์ผู้ที่สนทนากับข้าพเจ้าว่า “นางเหล่านั้นจะนำเอฟาห์ไปที่ไหน”
- 11 ท่านตอบข้าพเจ้าว่า “ไปยังแผ่นดินชินาร์ไปสร้างเรือนไว้ให้เอฟาห์ เมื่อเตรียมอย่างนี้เสร็จแล้ว นางเหล่านั้นจะวางเอฟาห์ไว้บนฐานของมัน”
