อิสยาห์ 4
- 1 ในวันนั้นหญิงเจ็ดคนจะยึดชายคนหนึ่งไว้ กล่าวว่า “เราจะหากินของเรา หานุ่งหาห่มของเราเอง ขอเพียงให้เขาเรียกเราด้วยชื่อของท่าน ขอจงปลดความอดสูของเราเสีย”
- 2 ในวันนั้นอังกูรของพระเยโฮวาห์จะงดงามและรุ่งโรจน์ และพืชผลของแผ่นดินนั้นจะเป็นความภูมิใจและเป็นเกียรติของผู้ที่หลีกเลี่ยงหลบหนีแห่งอิสราเอล
- 3 และต่อมาคนที่เหลืออยู่ในศิโยนและค้างอยู่ในเยรูซาเล็ม เขาจะเรียกว่าบริสุทธิ์ คือทุกคนผู้มีชื่อในทะเบียนชีวิตในเยรูซาเล็ม
- 4 ในเมื่อองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะทรงล้างความโสโครกของธิดาทั้งหลายของศิโยน และชำระรอยโลหิตของเยรูซาเล็มจากท่ามกลางเมืองนั้น ด้วยวิญญาณแห่งการพิพากษาและด้วยวิญญาณแห่งการเผาผลาญ
- 5 และพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงสร้างเมฆและควันเพื่อกลางวัน และแสงแห่งเปลวเพลิงเพื่อกลางคืนเหนือที่อยู่อาศัยทั้งสิ้นของภูเขาศิโยน และเหนือประชุมชนเมืองนั้น เพราะจะมีการป้องกันอยู่เหนือสง่าราศีทั่วสิ้น
- 6 จะมีพลับพลาทำร่มกลางวันบังแดด และเป็นที่ลี้ภัยและที่กำบังพายุและฝน
