- 1 ขอพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงฟังท่านในวันยากลำบาก พระนามของพระเจ้าแห่งยาโคบพิทักษ์รักษาท่าน
- 2 ขอพระองค์ทรงให้ความช่วยเหลือมาจากสถานบริสุทธิ์ และทรงเพิ่มกำลังให้แก่ท่านมาจากเมืองศิโยน
- 3 ขอทรงระลึกถึงเครื่องถวายทั้งสิ้นของท่าน และโปรดปรานเครื่องเผาบูชาของท่าน เซลาห์
- 4 ขอทรงประสิทธิ์ประสาทตามใจปรารถนาของท่านด้วย และให้โครงการที่ท่านคิดนั้นสำเร็จทั้งสิ้น
- 5 เพื่อพวกเราจะได้โห่ร้องเนื่องด้วยความรอดของท่าน และยกธงขึ้นในพระนามพระเจ้าของเรา ขอพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงโปรดให้คำทูลขอทั้งสิ้นของท่านสำเร็จเถิด
- 6 บัดนี้ ข้าพเจ้าทราบว่าพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงช่วยผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงเจิมไว้ พระองค์จะทรงฟังเขาจากฟ้าสวรรค์อันบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์ และโดยชัยชนะอันทรงอานุภาพด้วยพระหัตถ์ขวาของพระองค์
- 7 บ้างก็วางใจในรถรบ บ้างก็วางใจในม้า แต่เราจะระลึกถึงพระนามพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเรา
- 8 เขาทั้งหลายจะล้มพับลงไป แต่เราจะลุกขึ้นยืนตรงอยู่
- 9 ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงช่วยข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายให้รอดเถิด ขอให้กษัตริย์ทรงฟังเมื่อข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายร้องทูลต่อท่าน
