- 1 พระเจ้าทรงเข้าประทับในชุมนุมชนของผู้มีอำนาจ พระองค์ทรงทำการพิพากษาท่ามกลางพระทั้งหลายว่า
- 2 “ท่านจะตัดสินอย่างไม่ยุติธรรมและแสดงความลำเอียงเข้าข้างคนชั่วนานเท่าใด เซลาห์
- 3 จงให้ความยุติธรรมแก่คนยากจนและกำพร้าพ่อ จงดำรงสิทธิของผู้ที่ทุกข์ยากและคนขัดสน
- 4 จงช่วยคนยากจนและคนขัดสนให้พ้น ช่วยเขาให้พ้นจากมือของคนชั่ว”
- 5 เขาทั้งหลายไม่รู้และไม่เข้าใจ เขาเดินไปมาในความมืด รากทั้งสิ้นของแผ่นดินโลกก็หวั่นไหว
- 6 เราได้กล่าวว่า “ท่านทั้งหลายเป็นพระ เป็นบุตรขององค์ผู้สูงสุด ท่านทุกคนนั่นแหละ
- 7 ถึงกระนั้น ท่านก็จะตายอย่างมนุษย์และล้มลงเหมือนเจ้านายคนใดคนหนึ่ง”
- 8 โอ ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงลุกขึ้นพิพากษาแผ่นดินโลก เพราะบรรดาประชาชาติทั้งสิ้นจะเป็นมรดกของพระองค์
