- 1 โอ ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงฟังเสียงร้องของข้าพระองค์ ขอทรงสดับคำอธิษฐานของข้าพระองค์
- 2 ข้าพระองค์ร้องทูลพระองค์มาแต่ที่สุดปลายแผ่นดินโลก เมื่อจิตใจของข้าพระองค์อ่อนระอาไป ขอทรงนำข้าพระองค์มาถึงศิลาที่สูงกว่าข้าพระองค์
- 3 เพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นที่ลี้ภัยของข้าพระองค์ เป็นหอคอยเข้มแข็งที่ประจันหน้าศัตรู
- 4 ข้าพระองค์จะอยู่ในพลับพลาของพระองค์เป็นนิตย์ ข้าพระองค์จะวางใจในที่กำบังปีกของพระองค์ เซลาห์
- 5 โอ ข้าแต่พระเจ้า เพราะพระองค์ทรงสดับคำปฏิญาณของข้าพระองค์ และพระองค์ประทานมรดกของบรรดาผู้ที่เกรงกลัวพระนามของพระองค์แก่ข้าพระองค์
- 6 พระองค์จะทรงยืดพระชนม์ของกษัตริย์ ให้ปีเดือนของท่านยืนนานไปหลายชั่วอายุ
- 7 ท่านจะคอยเฝ้าต่อพระพักตร์พระเจ้าเป็นนิตย์ โอ ขอทรงแต่งตั้งความเมตตาและความจริงไว้คุ้มครองท่าน
- 8 แล้วข้าพระองค์จะร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระนามของพระองค์เสมอ ตามที่ข้าพระองค์ทำตามคำปฏิญาณอยู่แต่ละวันนั้น
